The mix of questions kept them laughing and thinking, and I liked that the topics were so varied. The little images on each page made it extra fun for them.Posted on John J DeGuireVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Fun way to learn fun facts. My nephew and I loved this trivia book. It's right up our alley. Comic book genre, bugs, to video games, what more could you want? It's easy to read and follow and as an adult, you'd be surprised by how much you learn also. Makes for a fun road trip without digital games.Posted on DeckardVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Keeps it fun! As a parent who enjoys watching superhero movies with my son, it was great to find this category in the book and be able to compete against one another. I found the questions diverse and well thought out. I was able to find the same enjoyment with my daughter in the animal category. This is fun, promotes conversation, and keeps little minds engaged.Posted on PMVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Trivia fun that actually gets kids talking This book was a total win for our family. We brought it on a road trip and ended up using it way more than expected: laughing, guessing, and even learning a few things along the way. The questions are the perfect mix of easy and tricky, and the variety of topics kept everyone interested. My older one loved the superhero and video game sections, while my youngest was all about the animal and bug trivia. The scorecard at the end was a fun touch tooPosted on Amazon CustomerVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Good for road trip The questions were fun, and my kids enjoyed some of the categories, especially superheroes and animals. A few questions felt either too easy or too tricky, so the balance wasn’t perfect. Still, it’s a decent option for road trips or vacation.Posted on MCPRVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Enjoyable, fun to read. ivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids... I enjoyed reading this book. It is a collection of trivia questions that kids and adults could enjoy. I scored high on some of the topics but very low on others. My favorites include superheroes, animals, technology, bugs, and random things. Each page is clean and easy on the eyes. Nice book!Posted on MeghanVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Age-appropriate, cute graphics, and lots of fun! I bought Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12 for my niece, and it turned out to be a total hit! She dove right into it and has loved dolling out the questions. The variety of topics—everything from animals to superheroes to video games—is perfect for a 12-year-old. I especially appreciated the mix of easy and challenging questions, which gave her confidence while still keeping things interesting. The scorecard at the end adds a nice, competitive twist, and we all ended up playing along with her. If you have a curious, trivia-obsessed tween in your family, I strongly recommend.Posted on TruthfulVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Make a child's summer interesting, fun and learn a bit too! This book covers all kinds of fun topics that kids may know, but not too many. If they don't know, then they will learn about it in a fun way, not like a school test. The answers are readily available to check (or cheat ;( ). I saw plenty of cute and quality kid-friendly drawings to go along with the chapter topics. There is enough in here to keep a child, and siblings or friends, interested for a good long time. The trivia within is just right for children to have a friendly competition with one another to see who can answer the questions correctly. I can imagine it being a good source for summer fun while they are learning something new too! I am glad the author included a disclaimer in the beginning about the accuracy of the answers, as I did find a mistake in the science section that should have been tagged as a theory rather than an objective fact. But otherwise the material is of little consequence in being accurate or not.Posted on Maxwell DBVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Exciting This book is an absolute gem for trivia lovers of all ages, but especially for kids and families who enjoy learning while having fun. It’s a treasure trove of fascinating facts across a wide variety of topics, making it perfect for curious minds or as a fun way to spend family time together. The sections are incredibly well-organized, with something to interest everyone. From superheroes and video games to space exploration and sports, the book covers an impressive range of subjects. I particularly enjoyed the mix of educational and entertaining content—reading about space missions one moment and discovering fun facts about bugs the next keeps things fresh and engaging.Posted on Jack ReaganVerified Trivia Questions for Kids 8-12: Brain Game Book for Both Girls and Boys | Test Your Knowledge, Challenge Your Friends With This Ultimate Game Book for Kids | Emphasis on "Game" Most books like these are, for better or worse, fact after fact. They're usually presented without context. Here, they're missing a context (beyond the overarching category--see below), but it's more of a Trivial Pursuit-style approach, with the kid (or you?) getting multiple choice answers to compare against the upside-down key at the page bottom. It's a fun approach, and while I prefer the recitation of trivia facts, I can definitely see why a kid in this age range might be more willing to stay with it if, like everything else in life, it's been gamified. It's even more likely that a kid's going to stick with it when the first section is one that s/he aces, and in today's world, there are very few subjects kids know more than 'Superheroes' (maybe 'Video Games'--and that comes next!). This (along with 'Bugs' and maybe 'Space') is a category not usually included in these books. Sometimes the trivia compendia will have sections on pop culture ('Sports' and 'Movies' are here, other places also have 'Music'), but I haven't seen one that specifically focuses like this. I do deduct half-a-star, because, while the categories are varied, the book is sorely missing a 'History' or 'Literature' or 'Social Studies' section. Beyond that, I don't see a meaningful fault in this book. 4-and-a-half stars.Showing our latest reviews
